We’ve all done it; we give ourselves an hour to get in a workout, then end up wasting nearly half of it getting ready at the gym or chatting with acquaintances we bump into along the way. Even with the best intentions, you can sidetrack your progress if you don’t make good use of your time.
When people say they don’t have time to exercise, it’s often that they simply view other things in life as more pressing at that time. But while not urgent, what is more important than your health? Even if you only have half an hour free, it’s much better to get up and go for a walk to get your muscles moving than do nothing at all. If you have time to send an email or sit down in front of the TV, you have time to exercise. Your body will thank you in many ways!
As a mobile personal trainer in Brighton and Hove, many of my clients have demanding careers and time is tight. Clients find that it is more time efficient for me to turn up at home, and therefore save the time getting to and from a gym. If this is something that interests you, then please enquire about my availability to do this.
Struggling to get started?
Can’t get going in the morning to exercise? Keep experiencing that 3pm slump? Rely on coffee to keep you awake through the day? Chronic tiredness is an increasingly common problem due to todays hectic lifestyles. However, with a few simple changes you have the power to put the vitality back in your life. The first step is to block out your diary for exercise sessions, and then to build in some accountability. This is where personal training in Brighton and Hove can be so effective.
With your nutrition, planning is again key to save time. Good nutrition does not need to be time intensive. if you find that you throw out a lot of fresh produce without getting round to eating it, try buying frozen fruits and vegetables. They are just as good for you and will last for as long as you need them to. Try frozen berries whizzed up in a blender with water, protein powder and ground flaxseeds for a tasty time saving post-exercise smoothie!
Best wishes,
