If I did not genuinely believe I could help you, I would not offer personal training. Over more than 20 years working with clients across Brighton and Hove, I have seen what is possible when training is approached in a supportive, structured, and realistic way.
I have worked with people of all ages, abilities, and starting points. Many arrive feeling unsure, out of routine, or lacking confidence in what they should be doing. With the right guidance, they often feel stronger, more capable, and more confident in their bodies within the first few months.
Clients regularly tell me they enjoy the process as much as the results. Just as importantly, they leave with the understanding and confidence to train effectively on their own, rather than feeling dependent on endless sessions.
Some clients have been kind enough to share their experiences in their own words, which you can read in the Testimonials section of this website.
Who I work with
I work with adults of all ability levels who want to feel better in themselves, move more comfortably, and build strength in a way that fits real life.
This includes people returning to exercise after time away, those managing previous injuries or health concerns, and individuals who feel uncomfortable in traditional gym environments. I also have access to a women only gym and a private studio, which many clients find more relaxed and supportive.
Whatever your background, training is adapted to you. There is no judgement, no pressure, and no expectation that you should already be fit or confident.
What you can expect to achieve
Training goes through four phases:
Initial
0-4 Weeks: You will learn the best ways to exercise and will feel fitter.
Visual
4-8 Weeks: See results, e.g. look slimmer, jeans become looser, dresses fit better.
Results
8-12 Weeks: Improvements in strength, posture, movement and confidence.
Maintenance
13 Weeks+: You have the ability to apply your new skills on your own, or you choose to continue to receive further support and progression from me.
A long term approach to health and confidence
Personal training is an investment in your health, strength, and quality of life. Clients often comment that the accountability, structure, and individual attention make it far more valuable than a standard gym membership.
My role is not just to guide you through sessions, but to help you build habits, skills, and understanding that support long term progress. Training should feel purposeful, achievable, and sustainable, not exhausting or overwhelming.
